North Harbour Science Fair
On Sunday August 30th, Vaughan ZL1TGC and Alan ZLAUW judged the North Harbour Science Fair entries at Birkdale Intermediate School.
They awarded the NZART prize of 100 dollars to David Ryland from Kingsway School (year 9) for his ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ project. It con-sisted of a Jaycar project and a modified computer power supply.
They also commended Eric Allen from Belmont Intermediate (year 8) for his ZAP project. This was a Jaycar EHT generator project. (from the Alan ZL1AUW NZART reports)
